Why is there a team project in every course?
A team project is a part of the course that we design to precipitate interaction among students, and creates a workshop for all students in class to take part in. This assignment is to glue a bridge between every 2 students. The teacher, as the host, will lead the whole class to work as a team, guide each member how to devote their best part and bring the whole team with the highest efficiency. And of course, students will learn the real collaboration situation while integrating various opinions. They learn compromise to reach consensus or agreement. They realize some small individual sacrifice will win the greatest interests of the group which maximizes the individual benefit for overall. They don't blame members for mistakes but understand evaluation for improvement. They know that giving assistance to any member in need will make themselves better too. The interpersonal skills build up through the whole process of team project.
